Phantom Obsession
by jeff burgess
A composite image composed of elements taken in Turkey, Oregon, and Washington State…...with the background taken from an engraving of W Richardson, printed by W Day called A Lake in Cujmberland…..which may still be in the Vernon Gallery. J.C. Loutherbourg is the original painter. The image I used was photographed from my copy of ‘The Art-Journal, Volume XIII, 1851. Published by George Virtue, of Paternoster Row, London.

A bit too dark to make out the two figures on the left. Is there a reason they are to be obscured in the shadows? At first I thought there was only one person, even them I almost missed her. -
