    thx for explaining Urban, the use of the smudge tool gives the image the painted look i suppose. Nice work :)

    Hi and thanks ! Sarah, I work with the smudge tool, airbrush, textures, but also a lot of adjustments> shadow / highlights and the burn tool. A picture of this style contains about twenty layer and takes two to three hours to do.
