Swimming In Stone
by Kirsten Lane

I was inspired by Kip Omolades' traditional piece "Swimming in Wood", also because it suits how I feel, trapped, hope seems so far, everything feels backwards and upside down and lastly the challenge the visual perspective of the piece gave me........ and believe me it was hard to find stocks anywhere I went that were taken from a "birds eye view".
