Playing around with paths and layer masks. I also used some vector shapes and&nbsp; blend modes. Image used is &quot;Portrait of Beauty&quot; #3660000 by George Mayer a.k.a. Egorr from iStockphoto. <p>This piece was inspired by a french graphic designer named Doucin Pierre a.k.a. Soemone. Image used is &quot;Dancing&quot; #4417725 by Alexander Yakovlev from iStockphoto.</p> <p>With this piece, I tried mixing expressive lighting with some soft glows, and soothing colours. Image used is &quot;Scenic&quot; #875090 by Rodolfo Clix a.k.a. Clix from stock.xchng.</p> A watercolour technique that was inspired by Fabio Sasso. <p>This piece was inspired by a brazilian graphic designer named Fabio Sasso.</p> For this piece, I drew inspiration from different sources. The layout and composition was influenced &nbsp;by one of my new favorite graphic designers, Harriet Golden from New York. Her work struck a chord with me. I highly&nbsp;encourage that if you get a chance, please visit her website, <a href="http://www.harrietgolden.com">http://www.harrietgolden.com</a>.&nbsp;The puzzle effect was inspired by the tutorial Ravi Vasavan wrote in Photoshop creative issue 33. Just messing around with vectors and gradients. I used PS and AI. Once again, I always try to incorporate&nbsp;bright colours in my pictures. Very simple. I used colorful gradients, some brush strokes, and then added&nbsp;a blur effect. Image used is &quot;Airplane 1&quot; #641707 by Pavel Jedlicka a.k.a. Smrcoun from stock.xchng. This piece was inspired by the tutorial Dani Taylor wrote in issue 32.&nbsp;Image used is &quot;Ghost Town&quot; #5125511 by Peeter Viisimaa a.k.a. Peeterv from iStockphoto. The original photo was a bit gloomy. I wanted to punch it up with some colour to fit my style. This is what turned out. Inspired by a brazilian graphic designer named Fabio Sasso. I used the brush engine to create the curves. Thank you Rosie and Dani for the tips :) The first image with the leopard was practice. After I posted it up in the gallery, I started on a similar piece using the same techniques. This is what turned out. Thank you again for the helpful tips.
