Bio: Hello Everyone, my name is Jonathan Nickens and I have been a graphic designer for 17 years. I began using Photoshop in 1994 and am still learning new things. This is a ten year old Photoshop work blending illustration and NASA photography of what the Horsehead Nebula would look like in the skies of an alien world. My rendition of the classic sea myth - Flying Dutchman Here is a more up to date version of Route 66. I really got some kicks out of this attempt to capture the freedom of nostalgic Route 66. I just completed my latest, and already one of my best pieces - a 40th Anniversary (22x28) poster in dedication to my favorite band of all time, Electric Light Orchestra. For all you ELO fans out there, especially in the UK, please give me your feedback and if you're interested in getting a laminated copy, let me know!!! This is just one of the 85 'Autographix' Montages I have designed for car/truck/bike customers in the last 4 years. I go to car shows during the summer months and do my own photography. I'm sure all of you can figure out the rest ;) This photomontage speaks for itself I'm a huge sci-fi fan and always loved cruises, so I combined the two in this artwork. To imagine the sights unseen in this big ol' universe and make it realistic looking can be a real chore. Enjoy the 'Stellar Cruise' I really wanted to give the feel that this montage of Bettie was plucked right out of the early 60's. Another glory days photomontage of the famous 1960's era Rat Pack. A big part of my business, especially during the spring /summer months, is going to car shows, taking the pictures of the auto and then doing the magic for the owner. Over 200 of these to date. This is another one of my favorite groups, Enigma (and Creator Micheal Cretu), done last year to celebrate their 20th year making VERY cool music. James Bond has, for as long as I can remember, been one of my favorites.
