the model came from raw exchange & i used other elements from itkupilli & foxy squirrel as well as some of my own. i used a lot of elements by itkupilli and rebecca mcmeen for this one. living in berlin, you hear a lot about the plight of the refugees here and elsewhere - this is in reaction to their terrible situation. the underlying image is based on a painting by my friend, vera kaplan. having some fun model luxbot (the colby files), mostly materials from raw exchange & caroline julia moore. "Is all that we see or seem But a dream within a dream?" a photograph of mine worked on in photoshop and topaz, with texture from 2 lil' owls photograph taken in copenhagen & worked on with topaz and photoshop reworked some of the elements of an earlier piece first attempt at a still life: photograph is mine, textures from 2 lil' owls and foxeysquirrel. i used photoshop and topaz. from a photo of a porcelain factory in berlin i started out with something else entirely in mind, but am quite pleased with the direction i ended up going in. a collage of a bunch of images, some mine, some from pixabay (the model included). i wanted to create something that looked like graffiti, but also showed movement. i was trying to convey the calm center that exists, even in tumult. i came across a great owl photo on pixabay & used several of my own tree images & some textures to create this in photoshop. i have been reading fantasy ya books along with my daughter and wanted to create a storybook kind of dreamlike image. a crow goddess thinking of dali landscapes :)) photographs from deposit photos, raw exchange & pixabay. surreal dream voyage another one that reflects the feeling of change & growth i have in my life right now.
